Okay, so I waited a while to write a review to really see what the benefits would be after an extended period of time. And I have to say, this machine does the job and is compact enough to have in the living room without it being obtrusive. But I also want to add, it's easy to maneuver from the living room to the bedroom if there are guests coming. We have carpeted floor, so we just dragged it from one room to the next and it was fine. Let me start at the beginning, my item was shipped to me within the given time frame and I was able to assemble it in an hour. Now, I am a female without much experience in assembling stuff beyond Ikea furniture but this was just as easy! The instructions are very clear and all the needed tools and parts are included. All you have to do is follow the directions from beginning to end and you're good! Now to the machine itself; I'm 5'6'' about 120 pounds and I try to hit the gym about 3 - 4 times a week and the only reason why I go is for the elliptical. I got this machine hoping to eliminate going to the gym and not only does this take care of my cardio needs but it's actually more effective than those expensive gym machines and it has two functions! I can hit the gym's elliptical at level 3 for about 40 minutes easily but with this machine I had to start at level 1 and it wasn't easy. Which goes to show just because it's a fancy gym machine, it doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a good workout. Not only did this machine work me like a newbie and have much better results at toning my legs and glutes BUT it also turns into a bike if you're looking for some change - which is the best way at maintaining tone, change it up every so often! This is the best investment I've made for my health needs and at such a reasonable cost! AND I also saved a lot of money by cancelling my gym's membership since this machine delivers everything I need and might I add, it's in my living room which makes my life so much easier. I don't need to go through the hassle of getting myself somewhat presentable to go to the gym and then the actual process of driving or walking to the gym; I have it all in the convenience of my own home! PERFECT!!! Oh and my mom and dad use it as well, so not only did it take care of my health needs but for my family as well. They're definitely not in the same shape I'm in so they use the bicycle/sitting down function and it's easier for them than the elliptical/standing function (for those who are wondering if this machine might be too strenuous, just use the bike method instead!). Seriously, I am so excited I bought this one. I looked everywhere; all over Amazon, other websites, even went to a sporting goods store but most are too expensive and I must admit, I was kind of hesitant at the very reasonable cost of this machine but in the end I went with it based on other reviews, cost, size, and dual functionality and I really am so glad I did!

This is a great elliptical. It is relatively easy to assemble, which takes approximately one hour. Assembling the seat is the most difficult part due to the fact that the supply tools do not work very well. The heart rate monitor, and calorie counter are not accurate.

This is a good quality machine. Gives you a great workout. The instructions were extremely scary to me, but it ended up being fairly easy to assemble. I would recommend this product.
